How frequently does Alex read pm's of others? How can he do that?

My banning was a direct result of Alex reading my PMs.  There is no other answer.  I did nothing wrong, and was WAY less involved in any kind of issues than others who are still there.

I PM'd another mother with a link to a different site.  I was immediately revoked from PMing.  I finally wrote a post on a thread with the evidence - dates, etc, proving Alex read my PM and then acted on it - a key ingredient.

Within seconds, that post was deleted and I was banned.  To my knowledge I've never been "unbanned", as have some, and I've never received any kind of explanation, despite requesting one.

Next time, ask the other person if you can talk via e-mail or IM or something. That's usually a lot safer. smile

Also, if you want to know whether or not you're still banned, it might be a good idea to try logging in at WP. That's how I found out I was banned in the first place.

In my opinion, non-intrusive, text-only, static ads (mostly the Google ones) are just fine if you would like to put them up, Mockingbird. But I do appreciate you not putting the moving ones up. smile

Yes, I found those moving ads on WP quite offputting. They also used to make my old system crash and/or go very slowly. It's a moot point now as I don't go there anymore due to being banned last year.
